How installation works
Configure & order your windows
Use our online configurator to build your windows or patio doors — exact size, glass, color and grids. Select “I’d like professional installation” in the extras step. Place your order — you won’t be charged yet.
We review & quote your install
A specialist from Hallmark Windows & Siding reviews your order and contacts you to discuss your project. We’ll provide a fair installation price based on your home’s specific factors — opening condition, frame material, floor level, accessibility and trim requirements.
Field measure & production
Once you approve the install quote, our crew field-measures every opening to verify your sizes before anything goes to the Vytex factory. Your windows are then built to the exact verified dimensions. Payment is collected only after everything is confirmed.
Professional installation
When your windows arrive (typically 3–5 weeks), our Hallmark crews handle the full installation — removal of old windows, installation of new ones, exterior capping, insulation, clean-up and haul-away of old materials.
What’s included in every professional installation
- Removal of your existing windows or doors
- Installation of your new custom Vytex windows or patio doors
- Exterior aluminum capping — finished trim around each opening
- Foam insulation around the frame for a tight, energy-efficient seal
- Interior trim touch-up — we leave your openings looking clean
- Clean-up and haul-away — old windows and all job debris removed
- Final walk-through — we show you how your new windows operate and make sure you’re satisfied before we leave
Why we quote installation separately
Every home is different. A first-floor replacement into a wood frame is straightforward. A third-floor bay window above a roof line is not. Rather than pad everyone’s price to cover the hardest jobs, we quote installation based on what your project actually involves:
- Frame material and condition (wood, aluminum, vinyl, steel)
- Floor level and accessibility
- Interior and exterior trim requirements
- Number of windows and openings
- Any structural considerations
This way you get a fair price for your home — not a one-size-fits-all markup.
